This level is typically utilized in situations where there is no risk of exposure to dangerous chemicals or where the chemicals are at a very low risk.

The components of Level D PPE usually include a work uniform, gloves, and basic face coverings such as masks. This equipment is designed to protect the wearer against minor splashes or contaminants in low-risk environments, enabling them to perform their duties while maintaining a degree of safety without the need for more extensive protective gear.
